BEHIND THE MUSIC OF THE BREEZE
The Breeze has been together for over four years. Most of the members met at Bishop Feehan High school in Attleboro and eventually formed the band, playing at private parties, hosted events, and local restaurants. Now they’re passionate about growing their musical skills and achieving the next level of success. Learn more about The Breeze and their professional music journey.

Meet the Band

Lead Vocalist, Co-Leader
Julia Carson
Julia is the vocalist for The Breeze. Under Barbara Wilson Arboleda, MS CCC-SLP, Julia was trained vocally in rock, pop, jazz, and musical theater for 5 years. She recently graduated from Providence College, receiving a BS in Biology on the premed track. She currently works as a medical assistant at Mass General Brigham in Patriots Place in Sports Medicine.

Guitarist, Co-Leader
Jacob Calamar
Jacob is the lead guitarist of the Breeze. He’s self taught and along with guitar can play piano, drums, bass, ukulele, harmonica, trumpet and tuba. Some of his influences include Randy Rhoads, Slash, Brian May and Eddie Van Halen. He’s also heavily influenced by the blues with Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughn being a few names that have helped shape his playing style.

Pianist
Jordan McBride
Jordan is a pianist and keyboard player who has been studying music since the age of four. Under several piano instructors, he has formally studied pop, rock, jazz, blues, and classical music. In 2023 he graduated from Providence College with a major in Accounting and a minor in Music. He then completed his MBA at PC in 2024. Jordan is currently working as an Audit Associate at KPMG.

Drummer
Corey Hall
Corey plays the drums for The Breeze. Corey graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2023 with a degree in Professional Music and emphasis in performance, production, and business. Corey has recently been tapping into performing his childhood genre live, that being progressive metal, where he shows his true passion with the world.

Sound Technician, Side Vocalist
Ben Carson
Ben engineers the sound for The Breeze and occasionally sings and plays guitar or bass. He is self taught for piano, guitar, bass, and audio engineering. Ben graduated from Sacred Heart in 2023 with majors in Managing and Marketing and a minor in Business. He then completed his MBA at SHU in 2024. Ben currently works in Manhattan at Kyndryl in Field Marketing.

Drummer
Quentin Kahn
Quentin has been playing drums for ten years. He is currently a Junior at Belmont University. After studying under a number of instructors, Quentin is now a student at the Rob Coyne School of Music Education in Warren Rhode Island. He owes every part of his talent and success as a musician to his parents who have supported him since he began.
